​After a quite a few years of researching overseas places to retire to, we started our exploration in December 2021 from Northern California. We had made spreadsheets of which countries we would like to visit and specific places to stay to test out the climate and infrastructure etc.

2 bed 1 bath or larger home/apartment
Walking distance of Markets/Shops/Transport
Good healthcare reasonably near
Good weather/climate ( little or no heat or cooling required)
Good fresh veg & fruit available at reasonable price
Total monthly cost around $2000
