About Us...
We are a professional couple who love travelling and animals.
Wendy is an America Citizen, originally from Northern California and Peter is a dual UK and American citizen originally from West Sussex, UK.
We sold our home in California in May 2021, are semi-retired, work part time remotely and are currently travelling around the world looking for a nice place to permanently retire.
Our careers have given us hands on experience in many work areas such as:
Operations and Business Consulting, Accounting, Printing Industry, Horticulture, Electronics Manufacturing, ERP Computer Systems Implementation, Firmware and Design and Manufacture of Agricultural Remote Crop Monitoring and Control Systems..
We were involved in Senior Home Care for various clients and their pets (German Shepherd, Long Haired Chihuahua/Pomeranian) so they could remain at home.
We believe in composting, recycling and reusing/repurposing and try to be environmentally friendly whenever possible.
We are both non-smokers and are quiet and respectful people.
Our interests include Hiking, Nature, Cooking, DIY, Gardening, exploring new places/cultures/food and meeting new people.
Singing and listening to Music (all kinds) and playing acoustic/electronic piano and acoustic guitar :)
We welcome the opportunity to provide you with a reliable, caring, conscientious service for looking after your house and pets.
We prefer to arrive a day or more before you depart so we can get to know your pets and specific routines each may require.
We have checklists to go through with you for each pet so we can care for them exactly how you would if you were there.
We are clean and tidy people, are non-smokers and are Covid vaccinated with booster.
We will look after your Home and Pets as if they were our own:)
We may also open to doing minor tasks and repairs around your Home and garden.
Peter has a few years of horticultural, agricultural & Handyman experience!
We love animals of all types and throughout our lives have had hands on experience and daily care of Cats, Dogs ( Experience with Dalmatian, German Shepherd, Labrador, Golden Retriever, Bulldog, Rottweiler, Samoyed, Chihuahua and Irish Wolf Hounds), Sheep, Horses, Chickens, Rabbits, Reptiles, Tortoises (Greek and Desert), Fish (Pond, Salt water and Tropical), Birds (Finches, Parakeets or Budgies, Parrots), Mice, Gerbils, Hamsters, Bearded Dragons, Chinese Water Dragons, Geckos, Snakes and various other pets!
Experienced with feeding such as mealworms, raw food, pinky mice and crickets/locusts and usual dry or wet foods :)
If we accept your House/Pet sit we will 100% meet that commitment, subject to death, strikes or hospitalization!
