2025 Stafford

We visited Stafford for a day on way to our Wistaston 2024 sit so we could meet our Hosts

and they could meet us! We stayed in the town at the Swan Inn and some pics are below. Stafford is a nice old town and easy to walk around.

This time we are flying in from Albania to Birmingham and then getting train to Stafford...at least that is the plan - RyanAir just cancelled our Jan 6th 2025 return flight to BMX and I rebooked the flight which cost at least TWICE as much as the cancelled flight. However, they are now only taking bookings until Oct 24th so I will have to change the flight to Jan 6th nearer the time.

Update: Talked with customer service and they said that RyanAir would not be having any flights from Tirana to Birmingham until probably April 2025 - off season!

So we had to book a flight to London Stanstead at ANOTHER $120...plus advanced train tickets to Birmingham New Street and Stafford. Due to flight timings we ended up booking the Hilton at Stanstead using points, as we were coming in late and taking the train the next morning.
